Foundation in Hypnotherapy

This provides a foundation and grounding for those interested in understanding hypnosis, its application and how to benefit self and others. 

Taught by practitioners, this is a valuable first step for anyone thinking of becoming a hypnotherapist and for established therapists in complimentary fields who are interested in understanding the use of hypnosis.  It is also ideal for those who have a general interest in improving their understanding of the themselves.   

This highly participative course is ideal for anyone who has been out of studying for some time and is not laden with theoretical material.  Much of the course uses demonstrations and practice. 

The foundation course is a practical subject, spread over three weekends (one weekend per month).   Each weekend is packed full with interesting demonstrations and explanations, covering the our core hypnotherapy syllabus. 

You will gain the opportunity to learn hypnotic induction, hypnotic techniques, and post-hypnotic suggestions and much more. 

On completion you will have a have a general understanding of the principle of hypnotherapy and how to use this tool on yourself and others. Not all of our students want to become hypnotherapists or use hypnotherapy, but just wish to gain knowledge.  Making this an excellent foundation.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

The course needs no prior knowledge and as such, is open to all.  Students of all ages and mixed abilities are welcome. 

You will, however, need to show some evidence of the willingness to work with other students and participate with appropriate interest and enthusiasm during the course weekends.

COURSE ENTITLEMENTS

On successful completion of course you will receive a certificate of attendance.

Those who wish to progress towards our General Qualification in Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy (GQHP) certificate issued by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council though the School, may use this course as evidence of prior learning.

INVESTMENT

The course is conducted at weekends; one weekend per month, for three months. The training days are from 10.00am until 5.00pm.   We run three courses each year, so there is always time to join a new course.

The course fees are due before you start the course. Our fee for 2010 remains at £670.

Whilst full payment is required before you start, you can pay monthly by monthly standing order, cheque or cash.
