What you will learn
How to utilise and observe your natural communication and
develop these along with the principles and skills to stimulate and
engage with your client's consciousness in the therapeutic
process.
On this CPD course you will the theory and practical aspects
of;
- Explore the relationship between "conscious" and "unconscious"
mind that is at the heart of all therapeutic process.
- Understand "symptoms" of distress
- Embrace "resistance" as a natural and healthy force that
demonstrates your client's autonomy and uniqueness.
- Learn language patterns that better reflects the linguistic
processes
- Understand conversations using transactional analysis
tools that can facilitate change.
- Examine Milton H. Erickson's cognitive behavioural approach
that demystifies his apparently "magical" interventions and
tasks.
- Utilise metaphor and storytelling for powerful effect as
client's reshape their identity and belief systems.
- Practice the skills of observing, utilising and maintaining the
naturally occurring altered state of "hypnosis" or "trance".
Course Structure
Utilising exercises and demonstrations, drawing on your own
experience and that from within the small group.
The theory is presented in easily understood format adapted to
suit your learning style.
This is not an assessed course.
Investment
The three days (Monday, Tuesday and Friday) each run from 10am -
5:00pm.
Course fee is £250 plus VAT.
